French President Francois Hollande has called in the army, declared a state of emergency and closed all borders.

The state emergency of emergency remain in force till midnight of Friday and activities grounded. Residents have been advised to remain indoor as soldiers engaged in the hunts across the capital.

Statement on attacks in Paris
The President of the UN General Assembly Mogens Lykketoft said the whole world is outraged by the attacks in Paris and will stand in solidarity with the French Government and the People of France.
Speaking on behalf of the United Nations General Assembly, Mr. Lykketoft said terrorism and murder of this kind is an outrage to humanity.
“My heart goes out to the families of all those killed, injured and taken hostage and to France which once again is bearing the brunt of the fight against terrorism.
“We must all stand together to fight this outrageous brutality,. It will not succeed and it has no place in the modern world.”
