US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle have begun a three-day visit to the UK by attending a private lunch with the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh. Mr Obama then met with Prime Minister David Cameron ahead of a dinner at Kensington Palace with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.
- Prince George was allowed to stay up a few minutes past his bed time to meet US President Barack Obama. The two-year-old prince was dressed in his pyjamas and slippers.
- It may have been just before his bedtime, but after his meet and greet with the US President, Prince George had time to play on his rocking horse. Kensington Palace said Prince George thanked Mr Obama for the toy, which the US leader gave to the toddler when he was born.
- Barack and Michelle Obama were at Kensington Palace for dinner, but they had a chance to chat with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry beforehand in a reception room.
- The Obamas were met by Prince Harry and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in the rain at Kensington Palace.
- In the second royal photo of the day, the Obamas posed with the young royals before going inside.
- US President Barack Obama has met with David Cameron at Number 10, as part of his trip to the UK.
- Mr Cameron and Mr Obama were expected to discuss the progress being made in combating so-called Islamic State in Iraq, and what more can be done to tackle the group in Syria.
- Earlier, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh greeted Barack and Michelle Obama, who had flown to Windsor Castle by helicopter on Friday.
- Prince Philip, aged 94, drove the Queen and the Obamas from the helicopter to Windsor Castle where they had a private lunch.
- Trumpeters greeted the Obamas' arrival at Windsor Castle.
- Their visit comes ahead of the UK's EU referendum in June.
