Non-Violence Sensitization: Jonathan, Buhari Meet, Embrace in Abuja!

Despite the political jabs being thrown at each other and their parties, President Goodluck Jonathan and General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) respectively, met in Abuja on Wednesday morning and both were locked in a warm embrace. 

 

The event was the 2015 Elections Sensitization Workshop on Non-Violence. Also present were the former UN Secretary-General, Koffi Anan and Dr. Emeka Anyaoku formerly of the Commonwealth, who was the Chairman of the workshop. The Chairmen of the APC and PDP were also in attendance.
The workshop held at the Shreaton Hotels and Towers, Abuja was hosted by the office of the National Security Adviser and the office of the Special Adviser to the President on Inter-Party Affairs.
