Breaking: Helicopter Crashes into Lagos Lagoon: Rescue Operators Swing into Action!

An unidentified helicopter on Wednesday, around 3.40 pm, plunged into the Lagoon beneath Third Mainland bridge, behind Oworonshoki Police Station, Lagos.

Efforts are ongoing by rescue operators who have been seen diving into the lagoon in their swimming kits around the crash area, virtually the parts of the helicopter cannot be seen on the water bed.

A local newspaper reported that eye witness accounts said that the helicopter made a loud noise before nose-diving into the ocean, adding that the Police and officials of the National Emergency Management Agency ( NEMA), South West zone, have begun rescue efforts.
