Bio-Data:
Amb. Umar Mohammed UMAR GALADIMA, (NCE, B.Sc Ed., M. Ed. Tech) was born on the 3rd of April, 1986 at Nigerian Cotton Board Quarters Funtua in the defunct Kaduna State of Nigeria to the family of late Alh. Muhammadu-Inuwa Umar Galadima and Hajia Zainabu-Abu Suleiman Jamari, both parents are origin of Hong/Adamawa State of Nigeria.
Relationship:
Amb Umar Galadima is single and engaged to Hamra Hamet Badal Zagreb, a graduate of computer science of Kaduna State University - an origin of Ngala, Borno State of Nigeria, precisely, on his 30th Birthday at Kaduna April this year.
Educational Career:
Amb. Umar Galadima attended various schools in his educational struggles among which are: Tarauni Special Primary School-Kano State in 1997 where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate, the famous Barewa College Zaria-Kaduna State in 2003 where he obtained his Senior School Certificate Examination, Federal College of Education Zaria-Kaduna State in 2007 where he obtained Nigerian Certificate of Education in Chemistry / Integrated Science / Education, the famous Ahmadu Bello University Samaru-Zaria Kaduna State in 2011 where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Education, the National Open University of Nigeria -Lagos State by the year 2015 where he obtained academic Masters degree in Instructional Technology among others.
Working Experience:
Amb Umar Galadima has worked at various sectors including SunSeed Nigerian PLC Zaria-Kaduna State, Student Teacher Barewa College Zaria-Kaduna State, Student Teacher Penfield Science Academy Kaduna State, Instructor Nigerian Navy after NYSC, Bank Officer Operation SkyeBank Minna, Niger State, Assistant General Manager (Administration) DNA Labs Kaduna State, CEO MENN Online amongst others and he is currently the New Media Assistant at the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Youth and Student Affairs at the presidency, Abuja.
Students Union and Community Service:
Amb Umar Galadima is member Nigerian Red Cross Society where he served as Detachment Officer with Lagos State NYSC camp and Detachment Commander of Badikko / Kurmin Mashi.
He was also a blood donor with Kaduna State Blood Transfusion Services as resident donor, Lagos State Blood Transfusion Services as Youth Corp donor and National Blood Transfusion Services as Student donor back in his days in school.
Amb Umar Galadima was also the President of his Local Government of origin largest Student Union body and recorded a lots of successes including uniting the former pioneer leaders of the organisation with the resourceful people in the persons of Dr. Aliyu Idi Hong, Justice Nathan Musa, Engr Omar Suleiman, Pharmacist Wafari Theman, Prof. David Shall, General Haldu Hananiya, Barrister Yerima Isa among the elders.
On the side of his youthful struggles are some of his counterparts in the persons of Comrade Musa Terrang, the former Students Union Government President of Univeristy of Maiduguri, Comrade Andrew Hamman - former President National Association of Adamawa State Students (NUADSS) and current Aide to the Honourable Speaker House of Nigerian of Representatives on Youth and Student Affairs as well as Comrade Biyama Zubema, former senate presidential aspirant of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) for the first time under the same umbrella in the history of the organisation and in the interest of progress of our beloved association, irrespective of race, religion or political border. Amb Umar Galadima was also a Pioneer Coodinator, Peace Marshal and advocate of the North Eastern Nigeria Youth Campaign Against Election Violence Y-CAEV under the leadership of Ahmed Bachaka of Nigerian Youth Parliament in 2015.
Youth Struggles and Community Services:
Amb Umar Galadima was a member of National Youth Service Corp NYSC Lagos 2012 where he did his primary assignment as an instructor of officers and men of the Nigerian Navy instructing Chemistry for the men and Oceanography for the officers in Nigerian Navy Ship, Quorra Apapa Lagos State.
He participated in frontline capacities in many youth struggles, among which is , Reject South Africa Group as a National Coodinator of the Group in Nigeria over the xenophobic attack on Nigerian Youth in South Africa.
He served as mediator of Civil Society Organisations in favour of International Welders Association in Nigeria which was founded to support Nigerian Youth of Welding Profession within a federal government special intervention entrepreneurship training skill contracted to National Institute of Welders and sponsored by PTDF over the misappropriation in their training fund. He founded the largest Arewa People Database MENN Online on the world most largest social media platform on Facebook to support the peace advocacy in the region and to emancipate the youth of the region from mental slavery by organising and participating in the youth advocacy and training, organising seminars and conferences on Education and Entrepreneurship, Information Communication Technology, Mentorship, Councelling, Peace and Conflict Resolution among others.
Amb Galadima participated in a lot of seminars and conferences which include thematic applications on economy and security organised by Arewa Consultative Forum-Youth Congress and he is currently the Administrative Officer of the Organisation, under the leadership of Engr. Isaac Balami, Commonwealth Youth Council under the leadership of Ahmed Adamu appointed him as Peace marshal to coordinate the six North-Eastern states peace marshals and ambassadors in year 2015.
In the same vein, his involvement was noted by the National Youth Reform Conference under the leadership of Charles Olufemi where he served as member of the communique drafting selected committee at the end of the conference and participate in the recent Youth Diversity Conference 2016 being organised under the leadership of Barr. Ismaeel Ahmed.
Amb Umar Galadima is also the author of the unpublished book 'Farewell to my Youthful Days, Journey so far', among others.
