The newly-elected member representing Ibadan South East / North East Federal Constituency in the House of Representative, Honourable Dapo Lam-Adesina has expressed his profound gratitude to all the people of the two local governments that make up his constituency, for making it a reality as he took his oath of office as a Federal Legislator during the Inauguration ceremony held on Tuesday, 9th of June at the National Assembly complex.
Honourable Lam-Adesina made this known via a Press Statement made available by his media assistant, Mr Owoyokun Samson Olabamiji. The newly elected federal honourable thanked all the community development associations, various youth organizations, vocational, artisan and professional associations he met in the course of the electioneering campaign, as well as leaders and all members of the All Progressive Congress (APC), both at the local and state levels. The honourable also thanked Governor Abiola Ajimobi for the support rendered to him during the March 28th National Assembly elections.
He further expressed his optimism to fulfill all the programmes and promises as contained in his manifesto and blueprint towards ensuring a dynamic representation and positive changes to his federal constituency.

 "I would by the Grace of God bring visible transformation, economic relief, empowerment and commendable developmental projects to all the wards, communities and neighborhood in Ibadan North East and Ibadan South East Local Governments".He stated.

''I still stand by my determination to bring good Life and Support Scheme for the Aged and Widow, Employment Support as well as empowerment for our youth, infrastructural and educational facilities for our public schools, assistance for organizations and associations, regular consultation and interaction with the constituents, market development, Loan Scheme for traders,sports development provision of water among other things.'' The statement signed reads.

 Dapo Lam-Adesina also spoke on his intention to work with the newly elected leadership of the House of Representatives being led by Hon.Yakubu Dogara and Hon. Lasun Yusuff as Speaker and Deputy Speaker respectively while also partnering with the Muhamadu Buhari-led federal government to facilitate meaningful and impacting projects to the constituency.
He equally solicited for the support, cooperation and prayers of all and sundry in his bid to positively influence the lives of his constituents.
He acknowledged the receipt of many congratulatory letters from different groups and associations among which are the Youth and women Fora, Landlord Associations Teachers Forums,Market committees, religious organisations and individuals.

According to the statement, specifically, the honourable referred to one of the letters which reads; "Your Swearing - in as an Honourable Member of the House of Representative has finally put an halt to the rumour mill machine of the opposition who have been misleading innocent citizens that you will not be allowed into the green chambers talk less of taking an oath of office, we advice the opposition to continue in their suicidal-mission of peddling unfounded lies while Hon. Dapo Lam-Adesina keeps delivering a new era of positive changes in the constituency".
''Lastly, the New Era has finally begun in Ibadan North East /South East Federal Constituency.'' the statement concluded.
