Reports just coming in from the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, said kidnapped Lagos seminary school girls have been rescued at Igbokuta area of Ikorodu, Lagos State.
The girls Timilehin Olusa, Tofunmi Popoolaniyan and Deborah Akinayo, all SS2 students, were abducted from their classroom at about 9:30pm on Monday, February 29, during prep by gunmen numbering about 15.
They were abducted from their boarding school located in Ikorodu area, Lagos. The rescued students are hale and healthy according to the State Commisioner of Police.
The three students were kidnapped from Babington Macurley Junior Seminary (BMJS), Ikorodu.
It was gathered that the armed men who gained entry from behind the school, by breaking the perimeter fence which served as protection for the boarding students.
